What customers say?

“ I visited for lunch for the first time in a while and looked at the menu. I saw that they had a collaboration between Tenmou and Chilled Dandan Noodles, so I ordered it. Their phantom fried rice was delicious, but it's only available at night, so I ordered the regular fried rice. About 10 minutes later, the chilled soy milk dandan noodles arrived first. I mixed the chilled dandan noodles well and took a bite. It was delicious! The soup was thick and clung to the noodles well, with a hint of spiciness. The pork slices? Maybe thinly sliced ham? They were delicious, too! The fried rice was moist, and the finely diced pork was a perfect match. Next time, I'd like to come back at night and try the phantom fried rice. Thank you for the meal. ”

“ I visited for lunch around noon on a weekday. Taiwan Ramen ¥990 ◎ Men's Day & Ladies' Day are the best times to visit. ○ Even with Taiwan ramen, you can fully enjoy the pork bone base. The parking lot is on the east side of the restaurant, and the interior is arranged with counter and table seating. At this time, the restaurant was about 90% full, with many families, making it quite lively. While this restaurant is famous for its pork bone ramen, I was in the mood for Taiwan ramen that day. The creamy soup was rich with the rich pork bone flavor and a distinctive tangy spiciness that came after. It was filled with plenty of Taiwanese minced meat, but I was also happy to see the generous serving of pork slices. The noodles were extra thin and straight, just like their pork bone ramen, and luckily, on this day, it was Men's Day, so extra noodles were free. They also have a great value set menu, so I'm sure you'll enjoy a satisfying lunch. Thank you for the meal. ”

“ It's been a while since I last visited. It feels like it's been almost 10 years. When I entered the restaurant, there weren't many customers, but after a while, more and more people started coming in, and there was a wait. It's as popular as ever. It's nice. The taste seems to have somehow become milder than before, but it was still as delicious as ever. I ordered the char siu bowl as part of the set, and that was also delicious. The char siu was nicely paired with a sauce that wasn't too strong. I couldn't stay too long, so it came out quickly. It was as delicious as ever, so I'll give it four stars! ”

“ I'm not familiar with Toyoake City's ramen restaurants, so I returned at lunchtime. For 1,100 yen, I got a choice of ramen, a mini bowl, gyoza, salad, and a drink. Spending over 1,000 yen for lunch is a bit daunting, though. I wanted fried rice, but it wasn't included in the set, so I opted for tonkotsu soy sauce ramen, a mini char siu bowl, gyoza, salad, and iced tea. Rice is free at lunchtime, and on Mondays, extra noodles are free. If I'd known, I would have just ordered ramen and gotten the free rice and extra noodles. I was pretty full, but since I was there, I gratefully obliged and accepted the free extra noodles. Everything I had today was delicious, so I'd like to try other ramen. I also got a stamp card that said, "Buy 5 Ramen, Get 1 Free!!!" Apparently, the free ramen is only available for tonkotsu ramen. ”

“ September 2024 Menda Okudencho, Toyoake City, Aichi Prefecture I was driving around lunchtime and happened to pass Menda at just the right time. I'd known it had been there for a while, so the perfect opportunity finally came. I think a ramen place I ate at on a bus in Toyota a long time ago was also called Menda.... I'm a bit fuzzy on the details, so I apologize if I'm wrong. This time, I finally managed to get into this restaurant. There's a parking lot for 13 cars, and it didn't feel too crowded that day. I was able to park with plenty of room. There are no steps to enter the restaurant, but there are wheel chocks, so wheelchair users might have trouble. The interior is nice and clean. The log chairs are impressive. However, the tables are a bit sticky. This is a common problem with good Chinese restaurants. Women might be a little hesitant. I don't mind, though. There are 18 counter seats, a large table, and seats that can seat eight people if seated facing each other. There are three four-person tables and one two-person table. There's a basket at the foot of the table, which is nice because women can put their bags and other belongings in it. Since I was empty-handed, the basket at my feet felt like a nuisance. The cheerful and friendly waiter showed me to my seat and brought me water and a towel. It was Monday, and looking at the menu, I saw that Mondays are Men's Day, meaning one extra bowl of noodles is free. How lucky! . I was planning to have the regular tonkotsu ramen, but I also wanted gyoza, so I ordered the gyoza set. The waiter then mentioned that one bowl of rice is free at lunchtime. What would you like? That's amazing. It's amazing, but I thought I'd be overwhelmed if I had the free extra noodles and then the rice, so I decided not to order rice. Just when I thought that was the end of it, they said they were also giving me a drink. I wonder if the restaurant is okay. Drinks are available: oolong tea, iced tea, cola, Calpis, and orange juice. I went for Calpis this time. After about 10 minutes of waiting, the tonkotsu ramen arrived, and five minutes later, the gyoza arrived. It looked delicious. The tonkotsu ramen soup, while it may be tonkotsu, is not heavy and has just the right amount of richness. There's no strong pork bone stew smell. But you can really taste the tonkotsu flavor, and it's delicious. It feels like it's been a while since I've had some delicious tonkotsu ramen The wood ear mushrooms were crunchy and delicious, and the pork slices were well-seasoned, soft, and delicious. The gyoza were tasty, but on the lighter side. I thought it could do with a bit more punch . I thought about ordering a refill, but I couldn't find any staff, so I thought about calling out for them. Just then, someone from the kitchen noticed me and our eyes met. It's nice that they're so considerate of their customers . As I was drinking the soup, my body started to heat up and my nose started to run, but there were no tissues, which is essential. I really needed some tissues . Of course, you can't blow your nose with a wet towel . I drank the soup and my stomach was full. It's a great deal on Mondays . You pay at the self-checkout. Now I'm curious to try the other dishes. It was delicious, so I'd like to come again. Thank you for the meal ”

“ I found this shop while looking for pork bone ramen in the Tokai city area. It's in Toyoake city, but it's easily accessible. I ordered the Tonkotsu Viet Cong. As an aside, as a non-local, I thought Viet Cong was reminiscent of the Vietnam War, and it seems that's where the name comes from. When I googled Viet Cong ramen, something called "Best Condition Ramen" came up, which also seems to be correct. I don't know what it really means, though. Viet Cong was a spicy tonkotsu ramen, and it was rather spicy. Next time I'll go for the basic tonkotsu ramen. I thought it was rare for a ramen shop to include a drink with their set meal. Thank you for the meal. ”

“ You order verbally after looking at the menu. It's great for me, who's indecisive because it allows me to take my time deciding. I always order tonkotsu ramen, and it's a light, non-sticky ramen that's popular with everyone. It's delicious! The fried rice is also moist, which I personally like. I ordered the "Mysterious Fried Rice," which was topped with plenty of takana (greens) and chopped pork, and it was absolutely delicious. Also... what happens after you order extra noodles is amazing! They give you a hot pot of slightly thicker tonkotsu broth (cloudy white) for your extra noodles! So even if you order a lot of extra noodles and the soup runs out, the flavor remains the same? It's still edible. lol Most ramen shops generally serve soy sauce-based ramen soup in a red-capped container, so this is a really great place. ”

“ Delicious and great value Red Set I rewarded myself with some noodles after a long-awaited business trip! This is my first visit to Noodles in about 16 years (^^) I was the second to arrive after the restaurant opened and sat at the counter I chose four dishes from the Red Set menu posted in front of me ◯ Red Set ¥1100 ① Tonkotsu Viet Cong (very firm noodles) ② Mini Teriyaki Bowl ③ Gyoza ④ Oolong Tea Mini Salad I would have been happy with just ramen and gyoza, but they had a special set, so I decided to treat myself to a rare treat (´∀`) Although it's called Viet Cong, it doesn't contain any vegetables or chunky garlic. It's basically just tonkotsu with chili peppers and grated garlic One sip of the soup revealed a delicious balance of creamy, mild tonkotsu with a spiciness! About 20 years ago, I went through a period where I ate nothing but tonkotsu ramen, and I remember this place being quite popular, so I decided to try it. Time passed, and pairing tonkotsu ramen with Viet Cong was a perfect match. (^^) I ordered the noodles extra firm, but the homemade noodles, made with flavorful wheat flour, paired perfectly with the soup. I ate it all to the last drop. The mini teriyaki bowl and gyoza were also delicious, so I felt like 1,100 yen was a great value for such a generous portion! I rarely eat tonkotsu ramen these days, but when I do, I really appreciate how delicious it is. I don't eat it often, but I do crave it every once in a while. (´∀`) Thanks for the meal. m(__)m ”
